C-Tech Innovation’s Food waste Destruction Unit (FDU60) has been developed to meet MoD requirements to
manage mixed food waste on board ship.

International legislation and conventions means that it is no longer permitted to discharge food waste to sea across large areas of the globe; this causes problems with storage or treatment of waste, particularly in Naval vessels where space is always at a premium.

The Benefits of the FDU60:

• Allows prolonged operation in Marpol 73/78 Special areas
