The North West Eco-Innovation Programme

Helping you eco-innovate

The North West Eco-Innovation Programme provided free, tailored support to nearly 400 businesses helping them exploit the market for sustainable products and low-carbon solutions. We helped a wide range of companies develop products and services that are now contributing to a lower carbon economy. Read the case studies for some examples.

The Eco-Innovation Programme has now ended, but building on the success of the programme C-Tech Innovation are pleased to be able to offer a similar range of services – please take a look at our Sustainable innovation pages here. These services are now available to non-SMEs and to businesses outside of the North-West.

C-Tech Innovation also administer (in collaboration with Oxford University) the Environmental Sustainability Knowledge Transfer Network. This network, which is free to join, aims to help you with your sustainability-related projects:

  • Finding partners and collaborators within industry or academia
  • Accessing funding

For details, and to sign up, see https://connect.innovateuk.org/web/sustainabilityktn or contact C-Tech Innovation at info@ctechinnovation.com

More information on the ERDF/NWDA-funded North-West Eco Innovation Programme:

“We have worked with the Programme over the last year on our carbon footprint and energy efficiency. They helped us with factual investigation into the use of bio fuel. We found their help invaluable and had it not been for their input we would almost certainly have opted for a system that is not only environmentally damaging but not cost effective either. As a direct result of the Programme we have clearly identified areas of improvement to our eco impact and cost effectiveness.”
Ainsley Tidd, Director
AT Transport

C-Tech Innovation and Lancaster University were the delivery partners for the North West Eco-Innovation Programme, a
